This new permissive footpath provides 4 additional stretches of permissive footpath to the existing public footpath network surrounding Cleatham. The permissive footpath provides an extended walk to and from the existing public footpath network along privately owned tracks and arable land. The land on which the footpath is situated is being managed for wildlife which includes a pond, wild bird mixture, pollen and nectar mixes and grass margins which all provide important nesting and feeding habitat for small mammals, invertebrates and birds. The site is excellent for wildlife with a variety of farmland birds being observed.
