West Fleetham (Site J) near Seahouses
Northumberland Wildlife Trust manages a set of five small sites around the village of West Fleetham. Three sites have public access. Long Nanny Wood is a wet woodland site which was once dominated by elm. The wood contains the relics of an old mill race and mill dam. Farm Pond is a small pond in an old limestone quarry. Quarry Meadow is a small area of pasture with an old quarry and scrub area at the centre.
