On Holwick Seahouses Farm excavations were done on the site of a Mesolithic settlement. During the excavations thousands of flint tools from the Mesolithic area and five Bronze Age cists were found. To demonstrate what the living situation would have looked like a Mesolithic Hut has been reconstructed. You can access this hut via the permissive foot path which is slowly sloping upwards. There is also a link to bridleway which joins back on to the Coastal Path.
