Railway enthusiasts with an interest in plants or birds should find the restoration work being undertaken on this 700m section of former railway line by the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust near Loddington in Leicestershire interesting. Panoramic views of the Eyebrook valley are being opened up and species diversity is increasing as the balance between scrub and open areas is restored. There is also a short footpath link provided to enable a short circular walk in the village.
