Launde Abbey (Hill Farm) near Oakham

Open access is provided to the beautiful parkland surround Launde Abbey, an Anglican retreat centre on the Leicestershire/Rutland border. The Chapel is all that remains of the Augustinian Priory that was founded here in 1119. It is one of a number of permissive access sites in the area with historic interest including Hallaton and Owston.

Accessibility Information
The minor road passing through the parkland provides a reasonable surface for wheelchairs although it is hilly and the narow road can be busy on summer weekends.
