Turvelaws Farm near Wooler

This is a lovely walk linking Wooler to the old bridge at Doddington. Wooler Water is part of the River Tweed Catchment which has been designated as a SSSI due to its high conservational and ecological value. A number of fish species are found int he river such as Atlantic salmon, sea trout and brown trout. The river also supports populations of birds such as Mute swans, herons, oystercatchers and grey and yellow wagtails.
