Marlborough Farm A near Lincoln

This site offers a 4m circular walk or a shorter 2m walk around arable farmland which is also being managed for conservation. Much of the route follows farm tracks and roads, elsewhere are grassy paths. Substantial hedges with grass margins and scattered shelter belts provide habitat for a range of farmland birds including lapwing, reed bunting, grey partridge, yellow hammer and skylarks, tree sparrows nest around Marlborough Farm. on sunny days in summer dragonflies hunt along the hedges. Park on roadside or at easterly point
