Pastures Farm Near Grendon
The board walk leads around the perimeter of the 10.95ha lake which forms part of the Northamptonshire Gravel Pits Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Protected Area. The lake is protected for it's reedbed and for it's bird species which include mute swans, lapwing, snipe and reed bunting. Other species of interest that might be spotted include common blue damselfly and smooth newt
The path links up with other footpaths which lead to the village of Grendon.
