HERNE FARM Near OUNDLE
This area contains several different types of wildlife habitat: the grassland, the river, the ditches, the hedges and the area of woodland all have their value to wildlife as well as to the local landscape.
The management of this area under this scheme aims to both safeguard and improve these features by taking steps such as ceasing fertiliser use.
