Country Walk Summary

Land at Clipston Near MARKET HARBOROUGH

The open access fields that lie adjacent to Clipston Village are classed as unimproved pastures. The fields are grazed traditionally with a mixture of cattle and sheep and hold ridge and furrow earthworks (a relic of medieval strip farming).
A tributary of the river Ise flows along the northern side of the site which provides some pleasant waterside walks. Attractive views of the surrounding area can be seen from the higher parts of the site.
