Country Walk Summary

Manor Farm B near Fakenham

This permissive footpath has been created within the Countryside Stewardship Scheme to provide two circular walks within the village of Foulsham that link with two existing public footpaths. To provide foraging, nesting and/or overwintering habitat for a range of farmland birds (such as grey partridge, turtle dove and yellowhammer) the landowner has established a number of new wildlife habitats including planting new hedgerows and woodland copses, reverting arable land to grassland, establishing grass margins around field boundaries and three areas of wildlife seed mix (to provide invaluable foraging for farmland birds during winterand summer).
