WHEAT HILL FARM SITE A Near MARKET HARBOROUGH
This grassland field is part of a scheduled ancient monument and forms part of the former medieval village of East Farndon. This comprises of buried earthwork remains of at least three enclosures defined by ditches and holloways. Within these enclosures are the remains of buildings along with traces of ridge and furrow (a relic of medieval strip farming).
